What We Do
We provide individual inner healing and deliverance prayer using a model created by Dr. Charles Kraft (See Recommended Books: “2 Hours to Freedom” under the Resource Tab). This model is not a magic formulation or incantations but rather an invitation for a dialogue between the prayer recipient and Jesus through the Holy Spirit. By following this model which starts with inner healing and submission to the leading of the Holy Spirit, our sessions are almost always peaceful. This does require cooperation from the recipient and a yielding to the Holy Spirit (Psalm 139: 23-24). We understand that it is Jesus’ desire to set captives free and to open blind eyes to see what Jesus is doing (Isaiah 61:1-2a; Luke 4:18-19). By the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are aligning and submitting the prayer recipient’s will under Jesus’ will so that we are praying in the name of Jesus (John 14:13-14).

We start these prayers with an Opening Prayer of Authority (See Prayers under the Resources Tab). We invite the Holy Spirit’s leading and ask for him to sanctify the prayer recipient’s imagination to see and hear Jesus. Sanctified simply means to use something for the purposes God created it for. We believe that the imagination is a creation of God within us that allows us to connect with him but that we have free will to use it in both sanctified and unsanctified ways. In our prayer sessions we give the prayer recipient permission to use his/her imagination in a sanctified manner removing any barriers due to the belief that a supernatural gifting or a spiritual out-of-body experience is required. By this method we are being naturally or rationally supernatural. This Opening Prayer of Authority also sets spiritual boundaries prohibiting interference by enemy spirits (Matt 12:22-29).
As the Holy Spirit leading reveals any area of spiritual darkness, we take appropriate action. The following is a partial list of some of the possible areas that we bring the light of Jesus into:
-
Forgiving
-
Others - People think that forgiveness requires an emotional response. That is if we don’t feel like we have forgiven, have we really forgiven someone? What we teach is that forgiveness is simply a matter of renouncing our right to judge and letting God be the judge of any person who we believe has wronged us in any way (Deut 32:35; Rom 12:19). Jesus instructs us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Matt 6:14-15). As such we align our will (not emotion) to give someone to Jesus for judgement (Matt 7:1-5). We commit to not judging the person over and over in our minds (Matt 18:22 - 70x7 principle). That is spiritual forgiveness - it is a spiritual discipline and removes the enemy’s right to torment us (Matt 18:21-35).
-
Ourselves – It is often easier to forgive others then it is to forgive ourselves. But Jesus forgives us so either we forgive ourselves in alignment with his will or choose to align ourselves with an enemy spirit by choosing against Jesus (1 John 1:9)
-
-
Renouncing lies of the enemy
-
The world and its cultures are all under the dominion of Satan and his principalities. Satan is a liar and deceives the whole world (John 8:44; Rev 12:9). We are instructed by the apostle Paul to be aware of and take a stand against the devil’s schemes (2 Cor 2:11; Eph 6:10-12). We stand on the truth that is Jesus. He exemplified the Father in unconditional love, acceptance and our adoption into his family and his unconditional forgiveness. He is good and faithful, and we must renounce any lies to the contrary.
-
-
Renouncing oaths, vows and curses (including generational oaths, vows and curses)
-
Swearing or an oath or a vow provide legal grounds enemy spirits to torment us when we do not fulfill them for any reason – Jesus instructs us simply to let our yes be yes and no be no (Matt 5:33-37; James 5:12).
-
Multiple verses in the OT talk about the consequences of making a curse, but in the NT Jesus takes it a step further by saying we should bless those that curse us or persecute us. Within the invisible realm curses breed hatred and anger resulting in violence. Following Jesus is the path towards loving even our enemies which is the only means to disempower the spiritual forces of evil operating in the shadows (Matt 5:44; Luke 6:28; Rom 12:14; Eph 6:10-12). Apart from Jesus’ indwelling Spirit, this is not possible.

Stop carrying burdens beyond our ability
-
One of the biggest issues we have is carrying more responsibility than we should and striving to achieve an end that is beyond our capabilities. Jesus says to be yoked with him – that is being in partnership with him. When we align ourselves with him and his goals we take his yoke upon ourselves, he carries the bulk of the burden (Matt 11:30). When we are feeling overburden, exhausted and anxious it is may be due to not being yoked with the Lord and walking in step with him. Fear of failure, fear of man and performance orientation due to our self-worth being tied to what we do often results in performance anxiety.
-
-
Holding on to anger
-
Anger and bitterness are closely related to unforgiveness. When we hang unto anger, we allow the enemy a foothold which grows towards bitterness, depression or even violence (Eph 4:26-27).
-
-
Unrepented Sin
-
Multiple scriptures warn us about the consequences of unrepented sin – too many to cover them all here. Unrepented sins if allowed to take its due course results in the loss of inheritance of the Kingdom of God (Gal 5: 16-21) and the Father’s discipline can even use evil spirits to torment us in the hope that we will repent (1 Cor 5:5, Matt 18:21-35): But here are a few that we highlight as they are common:
-
Lust, pornography and sexual fantasy
-
Idolatry – marriage, money, career, self (haughtiness and hubris), etc.
-
Addictions – alcoholism, drugs or related to items (1) and (2) above.
-
Occult practices, psychic readings, new age mysticism, etc.

Following our prayer session, we may continue a dialogue with the recipient depending on specific issues and/or patterns of thought and behavior. We are limited in the sense that we are not professional counselors and advise all our prayer recipients to seek guidance from health care professionals if on-going care is needed. This may include psychiatrists if there is a physiological issue resulting in mental illness or psychological counseling. We do have a partial list of folks we trust in the “Health Care Pros” page found under the “resource” tab on the main menu.
