Our Story
Isaiah 61 Life Ministries International was launched in 2025 upon the retirement of Hearts Set Free International Ministries founded and directed by Judy Taber in 1997. Under the direction of Judy and following the Inner Healing and Deliverance Prayer model established by Dr. Charles Kraft, multitudes of ethnically, culturally and denominationally diverse people have become free from spiritual oppression. Chuck taught us how freedom from evil spirits is achieved peacefully when we invite the Holy Spirit into the broken places within our hearts. It is from this ministry that Isaiah 61 Life Ministries International has its roots. The founders of Isaiah 61 Life have all been personally trained by Chuck and Judy. This page celebrates their retirement, achievements and carries on their legacy.
Dr. Charles Kraft
Retired
Dr. Charles H. Kraft is Professor of Anthropology and Intercultural Communications at the Fuller School of Intercultural Studies (formerly School of World Mission) at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Since 1969 he has been teaching in areas including Anthropology, Communication, Prayer Ministry (Deep Level Healing) and Spiritual Warfare.
For decades he has conducted seminars in the United States and around the world on deep level healing, deliverance and spiritual warfare.
He has distinguished himself over the course of four different careers (Missionary, Professor, Author and Non-Profit Ministry) and has published over 30 books. In 2022, Dr Kraft retired from ministry and he is now spending time with family. Our hope is to honor his legacy around the world with the wisdom and insight that Dr. Kraft brought to the forefront of Christian inner healing, spiritual authority of believers and deliverance from bondage.
Judy Taber

Rev Judy Taber is an ordained Christian minister from the USA. Her ministry experiences include the following:

In 1997, she founded Hearts Set Free International Ministries based in Oklahoma City, a ministry that serves people of all cultures and crosses all denominational boundaries. In 2006 she established a second ministry center in Tuscaloosa Alabama.
After receiving personal life changing transformation in her own life, she answered the call to full time ministry. Today, Judy Taber travels internationally, has visited 12 countries over the last 12 years, and spoken across denominational lines and age groups, sharing her own personal testimony of freedom from severe bondage and torment.
Her message and ministry of Jesus’ love brings deep level healing to hurting hearts of God’s children, enabling them to receive healing and freedom, irrespective of their countries, culture, gender or circumstances. She seeks to impart the love of Christ in every area of hurt, to bring reconciliation, wholeness, and freedom from bondage through the power of God.
Besides ministering to individual needs, the goal of her ministry is to equip the Body of Christ, by teaching how to allow the Holy Spirit to heal the wounded hearts in His people, and when they are healed and set free, they can partner with Jesus to bring healing to the wounded hearts of others in the Body of Christ. Through her teaching seminars and private prayer sessions, she brings release to people, helping them to step into all that God has for them as they learn to embrace their identity as a child of the King. Her teachings cover the areas of hearing God’s voice, deep level healing and deliverance, intercession and intimacy with God, and other related issues.
Judy’s life and ministry are based on two foundational scriptures – Psalms 51 and John 14:30-31. Her goal is to not allow the enemy to “have anything in me,” and to walk in close communion with the Lord so that she can follow the Lord’s instructions for herself and those who come to receive healing.
